Map of Piedmont – Google Maps API
Posted by Paul at 3:58 pm
Italian real estate website Piedmont Property is now live, and uses the Google Maps API to display a map of Piedmont along with icons which represent each house for sale on the website.
Potential clients can scroll the map to find an area they are looking to buy a property in, and then click on an icon to view a thumbnail of the property along with the price and short description. If they then click on the thumbnail, the main details page for that property is displayed.
Good fun and hopefully a genuinely useful feature of the website.

Google Maps API for Property sales websites
Posted by Paul at 1:31 pm
Have just realised the power of the Google Maps API, so I’m making up for lost time and will be integrating into an Italian property website that I am working on at the moment. Will post a link in the next few weeks, but it will have an interactive Google map with a marker for each property across the region my client is selling in. Click on the marker and a brief description and thumbnail image will be displayed. Click on the thumbnail will take the visitor directly to the full description page for that property. Looking forward to this one, and annoyed I didn’t take notice of Google maps earlier!
